LIBERTY AND DEATH

“……Die as a choir of 50 blonde virgins (with Mosins!) sing my praises……”

Michael W. Dean and Neema Vedadi talk about how “I’m the one that’s got to die when it’s time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to.” They discuss the only two certainties in life. FREEDOM AND DEATH. They wax poetic about mortality, the meaning of life, libertarianism, death, what it would be like to be droned, redemption, and then computer editing as an analogy for life.

The discuss the movies Moon, and Logan’s Run,  then mention the Shrine of Feline Listeners on the Freedom Feens Fun Forum.

They talk about Republicans calling Michael and Neema leaders in the yippie radical SDS of the millennium and Michael’s response to that, Court OKs Barring High IQs for Cops, Woman in Oklahoma cleared of criminal charges in  righteous self-defense shooting, but what if she’d been in Boston or Newark or Los Angeles or NYC?

The we hear the song “Hot Bloody Hearts” by Michael’s old band, Bomb. Then we close with “FILM THE POLICE” (radio edit) – B. Dolan (feat. Toki Wright & Jasiri X, prod. by Buddy Peace, intro by Sage Francis.)

And Michael calls Neema on the phone during the editing and asks, “Are we angry today? I have seriously cut in between 4 and 5 times as many censor beeps as in an average episode….”

  1. What up my Feens?

This was one of the first casts I’ve listened to in a while. Man I’ve missed my weekly fix! Neema, I totally relate to your “berzerker mode” impulse. I feel the exact same thing rising up when I get pulled over by a cop, or when I have to go through airport security. I start hearing either the Soviet national anthem or “Der Fuhrer’s Face”, and just have to bite my tongue so as not to say something biting and get in trouble.

I love the idea that the AIM piece just gives you guys free publicity. I had the same kind of thoughts reading it, along the lines of- “Guns, weed, anarchy, freedom… how are these bad things?”

    Thanks Paul!

“they were created when media bias mattered” lol!

I think Clinton blew up the pill factory in Sudan, to get Monica Lewinski’s tainted dress out of the news. I miss Clinton.

Accuracy in Media has been around for a very long time, back to the Reagan regime or thereabouts. Might even have done some bit of good back then, but all bought and paid for by now, by the corporate state. I can believe the expensive office space for them. Funny how irrelevant they are these days, now with the Internet – they were created when media bias mattered. Anyway, all publicity is good publicity, so good job on getting that AIM slam!

    They’re in the episode!

Always entertaining and informative. But the caption of the photo above confuses me. So, there are blonde virgins?
