The Freedom Feens talk about why they don’t cite their sources very often, the northeastern megalopolis, Part 15 transmitters, cheaper Part 15 transmitters, California Wants Small-Business Owners To Pay Back $120 Million In Tax Breaks, and Larken Rose’s take on the show “Orange is the New Black.” Also discussed is the fact that the reason the Feens don’t like the State is that the Feens don’t like bullies who pick on the weak.

    Why not question accuracy in the show notes here? Then all the feens could crowd source it as we have time. I don’t understand how a radio show could cite every source without harming the discussion and opening questions up to all of us allows the best answer to come quick. Just an idea.

    That Bones episode was exactly the same episode that got me to stopping watching Bones. What pissed me off the most was that the talk radio host was chastised for being honest. I was a statist when I saw it and still pissed me off.

    I wasn’t criticizing! Scout’s honor!

    I’m genuinely curious how you guys/Ben Stone/anyone else I listen to determine, “what I am reading is truth” as far as historical references. I find myself thinking from time to time, ‘Fuck it. You can’t trust anyone or anything to be true unless you were there.’ (And hell, even then, who’s to say my perception is truth? Whoa. My brain’s about to get tangled up.)

    I’m interested in reading the most accurate historical references possible, so if you have suggestions, I’d really like to know.

    Your response to my comment is making me say, ‘NOOOOO! Noooo! I’m on your team!’

    I do trust you guys – and Ben Stone, and more. But if I’m trying to help others see the light, I’d like to be fully educated on subjects, specifically history, in order to effectively debunk what we were taught in school and commonly accept.

    You DON’T have to prove anything to me. I just want to be able to prove to others. Make sense?

    P.S. I’m an angry young woman! 😉
    P.P.S. The end point about the strong picking on the weak was awesome. Well said.

      Yeah. Basically we were saying, for 90 minutes, that we don’t bother with attribution because the research would cripple us, we cover so many things in one episode, and we’re really “not that kind of show.” We generally give a fact, then riff on it. The riffing is the Feens magic, the original fact is just the jumping-off point.

      >P.S. I’m an angry young woman! 😉

      You’re all good in our book!

      Thank you. I was pretty pleased with it myself.

        Yeah – I get it. Maybe I should have emailed the question rather than a show comment. I wasn’t suggesting y’all should site your references during your show. It was a very general question; perhaps one that cannot easily be answered. And it seems like the more I try to make myself clear, the more confusing I sound. :}

    I laughed really hard. “Fuuuuuuuuuuck Statists – penalize them in every hole”

    Correction: I spend 30 hours per WEEK, not per DAY, making phone calls for the Feens.
