Neema Vedadi takes a well-deserved day off. Today’s Feens offering is Michael Shanklin Interviews Michael Dean of the Freedom Feens radio show for the Voluntary Virtues podcast. A good time is had by all. Doesn’t need show notes because with these two, you know it’s good.

Michael W. Dean was a handful at a very young age. He tested extremely high on aptitude tests, but was asked to leave his public school due to his very vocal dislike of authority figures. (Examples here, here, here, here and here.)

This show shook loose something I have been meaning to say for awhile. I can’t recall what was said to remind me but I wanted to say this factoid.

The FBI likes to hire Mormons and marines as agents, why? Because they always follow orders.

Ah, now I remember, it was your comments on the “defiance” of the Mormons against the federal government on polygamy.

Makes sense. Now that they’ve weened out the ones with teeth.

That man (interviewer) talks fast. Enjoyable episode.

I know this experience doesn’t hold a candle to your experience with your daughter, but a dear friend of mine has liver cancer and experiences a lot of pain. They can’t take any kind of pain medication b/c the diseased liver can’t handle it. I suggested pot. They said they can’t b/c their spouse is a high official at a prison. It makes me so sad and so angry.
    *shakes fist in air*

Michael your shows have gone up a few notches in the past few weeks. They are funnier and more feisty. Love what you’re doing.
