HAPPY CAT IS HAPPY (because it's my blog's birthday!)

Freedom Feens Davi Barker and Michael W. Dean talk about how Holidays are collectivist and SO square! (Except maybe birthdays and anything that was made up by Emperor Norton.) They also discuss how libertarian central planning of any “we must do this!” action items is also collectivist, and best kept to newly-minted libertarians as mental masturbation.

The dog catcher of Keene, NH…how did he get in here…..this flowchart of “the grand unified theory of all conspiracy theories”?:

Never understood why Catcher in the Rye was a “must-read” classic.

WOW! That was a really cool story about your teacher’s introduction of 1984, Davi!

I never did watch Helvetica. Interesting that’s one of your (MWD) favorite documentaries. I would think that would only be true for design geeks. It has a function, but I have to say I was disgusted when it was chosen as THE font for a brand at a company I do work for.

“I would think that would only be true for design geeks” I’m not a design geek. I’m a documentary geek. I love ’em. I can watch a good documentary about anything. Because a good documentary is often about the human condition, no matter what the “topic.” Unless it’s about bugs. lol.

The movie Helvetica pretty critical of that font, for what it’s worth.

I LOVED the new Robo Cop. There definetly a need for suspension of disbelief. But it was a lot of fun to watch.
