Re: cast iron cookware: Awesome stuff. Cast iron is a good example of how newer tech is not always necessarily better. The great thing about it is that the more often you use it to cook bacon, the blacker and more non-stick it gets.

Also, much love for the 10/22 and how modifiable it is. I love that rifle- it’s a great rifle whether it’s left box-stock or transformed into a space age sniper machine with aftermarket parts.

Even though I don’t necessarily recommend how Michael’s dad introduced him to guns, (I’d probably give my kid a lot more instruction first…) I think there’s a lot of value in the spirit of what he did. Kids respond well to being trusted, and I’m certainly a big fan of kids being exposed to guns and shooting at as young an age as possible. In my own case, my brothers and I had free reign of the backyard with our compound bows at an early age. No one was ever hurt, we built skill and learned to use them safely, and I’d do the same for my kids.

I’m definitely looking forward to the how to podcast tutorial video. I haven’t podcasted yet but have some gear and would love to know how. Also, is there a Part II in the works for Gun Training With the Non-Agression Principle? My copy of Volume I looks a little lonely…

I don’t know where the idea that the NSA and NASA are connected came from, but I totally get that NASA and the military are connected through NASA’s research and development in aviation. But the NSA part couldn’t help remind me of this. Have a laugh 🙂 Brazilian hackers mistake NASA for the NSA and crack into the space agency’s website in revenge attack
