Regarding Scottish secession, is it not the oil in the North Sea that makes it left wing?

In Scandinavia secession is traditionally a right wing phoenomenon, in part because the 19th century classical liberals used both cross-border Scandinavianism and secessionist regionalism to question the legitimacy of the state.

But also because 20th century libertarians like Vilhelm Moberg (author of the famous Emigrants series) with his secessionist books A History of the Swedish People and Traitor Country have had significant influence.
