I love Caity and Dan but I hate Iron Brew, had it in Scotland in 1988 had to dump out half the can. The ads of the day said “Made from girders”and it tasted like it. Left a taste in my mouth worse than the petrol/gas prices. I remember talking to a couple in a b and b about my 1973 cadillac that got 12 miles/gal with it’s 8 liter engine. They were dumbfounded. I think the gas prices at the time there was about $6-8/gal. Ouch, but I loved driving around the backwoods of Scotland on they’re winding one lane B and C roads in the Ford Sierra AWD. Now I know why Jackie Stewart became such a great race driver.

It’s nice to hear more scottish people after the amazing Tommy from Glasgow! But I need to start paying more attention to the music references since google isn’t much help – at the end of the show I realized I missed who the guy was in the bathtub chanting “there are no rules”. (Try googling “there are no rules bathtub”!) Another musician I can’t recall was the one who divorced his wife the morning after she complained about his guitar practice.

      Nathan,

      >I realized I missed who the guy was in the bathtub chanting “there are no rules”.

That was Syd Barrett, co-founder of Pink Floyd who got kicked out during the recording of the second record because he was crazy.

      Iggy Pop.

He tells that story in his autobiography “I Need More.”

        Worms, much appreciated!

In one of the most pointless cameos ever Iggy Pop guest starred on a Star Trek episode where he played an alien captain negotiating a hostage exchange. But as it was one of the dreaded Ferengi shows his acting took a back seat to Ferengi hijinx and comedy antics.

    I enjoyed this episode.
Bringing Dan and Caity onto the Feens was a great idea. This show was a fun listen, full of bubbly goodness and interesting information.
